We want to recognize several league winners and Top Guns. It’s been a busy last few weeks. We have 8 leagues at or near the end of the season. Thanks to everyone for your continued participation and for all the new teams and bars involved! Read the whole post. It will be worth it. Let’s get to it…

MONDAY LEAGUE CHAMPIONS

Hangover Balls (Andrea Mayer, Eric Ball, Jamil Jay, Mike Truss, Scotty Kirkham and Tommy Gunz) playing out of Hangover  are the Monday Champions. They defeated the second place team of Gustos 1 (Brian Lewandowski, Mark King, Matt Becker, Patrick Foster, Scott Gibbons and Tony Lenzie ) out of Gustos. League Top Gun Cricket honors go to Patrick Foster (3.53) and Becky Ashworth (2.18). Top Gun 01 honors go to Tony Lenzie (33.43) and Becky Ashworth (20.63).

WEDNESDAY A LEAGUE CHAMPIONS

Hangover 2 (Adam Swithin, Brandon Schiro, Josh Jardine, Matt Becker, Mike Roa and Scotty Kirkham) out of Hangover are the Wednesday A Champions. They defeated the second place team of Gustos 1 (Andrew Stege, Brian Lewandowski, Chuck Bice, Jimmy D’Apice, Patrick Foster, Rick Sconiers and Tony Lenzie) playing out of Gustos.  Top Gun Cricket honors go to Tony Lenzie (3.68) and Tara Wofford (2.14). 01 Top Guns were Josh Jardine (33.45) and Tiffany Roa (20.11).

WEDNESDAY B LEAGUE CHAMPIONS

Bedrocks (Craig Heiland, Doug Schriber, Eric Ullery, Kevin Frazer, Mark Lake and Tom Gamino) playing out of Bedrocks are the Wednesday B Champions. They defeated the second place team of Mickeys 2 (Barrie Link, Frank Cannon, Larry Nedolast, Steve Lewis and Tony Gavlin) out of Mickeys. Cricket Top Gun honors go to Genaro Zamora (3.01). Jennifer Sweeney and Judy Butler both tied with a 1.82 MPR. 01 Top Guns are Brad Lewis (27.65) and Judy Butler (18.44)

HANGOVER HAT TRICK SINGLES CHAMPION

In an epic upset 12 seed Jeff Mappa defeated 1 seed Mike Maloney to take the Hangover Hat Trick Singles Championship. Mike Maloney took both the cricket (4.33) and 01 (35.10) Top Guns. For the ladies Geri Stein shot a 2.64MPR and a 20.61PPD to take those Top Gun honors.

HANGOVER 3 IN A BED SINGLES CHAMPION

The championship match between Geri Stein and Matt Hernandez will be played later this week. All Top Gun honors go to John Vaitkus (3.48MPR, 27.92PPD) and Tandra Haney (2.02MPR, 18.36PPD)

HANGOVER WOMENS SINGLES CHAMPION

Geri Stein defeated Andrea Mayer to become women’s champion. Division Top Gun honors in Cricket go to Gretchen Clutter (2.02) and Geri Stein (2.63). Division Top Gun 01 honors go to Gretchen Clutter (18.14) and Geri Stein (23.31)

Still on tap closing out the seasons are the Paddys Womens Singles, Paddys Mens Singles and Tuesday 80S League.

Oh, btw, if you made it this far down to read all this we have something to announce. It’s more a hint than announcement. We are working with a few MAJOR partners to bring a VERY generous paying weekend tournament to our MDL league members. This private, invitational only tournament will be held at a large Illinois establishment and will be a weekend of darts and fun. There is a TON of planning that goes into this and it will be a while before dates are concrete. We can’t say anything more than that so don’t even ask. Stay tuned!
